As a blogger myself, I’ve learned the ropes of working with WordPress, HTML, CSS and more through hands-on experience, research and trial and error.
My project administration work for Deal Seeking Mom has taken this experience to a whole new level as I’ve worked with Tara to make her vision for what has become one of the most popular deal blogs on the internet a reality. My duties include:
:: Brainstorming and consulting on projects and ideas
:: Setup, configuration and management of the Deal Seeking Mom Forums
:: Design and implementation of the coupon database, including working with the programmer on the technical aspects of the database and the training of a database administrator
:: Coordination, design and setup of the gift guide pages
:: Expansion of the Grocery Grab
Additionally, I am the ad director for Simple Living Media, the network developed by Tsh Oxenreider of Simple Mom. In this role, I assist Tsh with marketing and sales, including:
:: Coordination of giveaways and promotions
:: Ad sales and the administration of the ads
:: Responding to media inquiries
I’ve also set up blogs, transferred old posts from Blogger to WordPress, customized CSS and blog layouts, and more.
